Here we are in Kuwait at Ali Al Salem airfield. 

The Desktop Alert Team deployed:

  • David Zadick - President DTA
  • Buddy Ackerman - Install Engineer
  • and myself - Ambassador?
We are inbetween flights.  The next flight takes us to Tikrit Iraq and then after a few days in Tikrit we move on to Baghdad.

I have seen a few maps while in a plane, but not like this:



Once in Kuwait I was quickly recruited at the USO desk by a few soldiers who needed help getting online!




The subsequent armed escort to Ali Al Salem was my first indication that we were not on a NYC Apple Tour Bus!

On arrival....
